Rough, dull skin
WHY IT HAPPENS: As our skin matures, it loses the ability to repair damage and new growth of skin cells. Often, the first sign of this is rough-textured and dull skin.
THE FIX: Total FX Fractional CO2 tops the list and gives powerful results without the harsh side effects of traditional CO2 lasers because it removes dots of skin, leaving healthy skin around the dots intact. “Total FX truly is the treatment that does it all.” says Courtney Lo, PA-C. “It retextures skin, reduces wrinkles, fades acne scarring, and can even renew eyelid skin with just a few days of downtime.” For younger, less damaged skin, peels and products containing retinol are very effective.
Brown age spots on your cheeks, forehead, & sides of your face
WHY THEY HAPPEN: Over- active pigment cells cause age spots. On areas of skin that have had years of sun exposure, age spots appear when skin pigment becomes damaged or “clumped.”
THE FIX: Intense Pulsed Light treatments give the most dramatic results. And the darker the spot, the better the results! IPL can be performed individually or in a series. Many clients opt to alternate IPL with light peels to provide simultaneous improvement in pigment and overall glow.
Lines & Wrinkles
WHY THEY HAPPEN: Lines and wrinkles form from volume loss with aging, repeated expressions, sleeping habits, genetics, and sun exposure.
THE FIX: For lines and wrinkles resulting from constant movement (like the “elevens” between brows, forehead lines, or crow’s feet), neuromodulators like Dysport, Botox, or Xeomin are best. For deeply etched lines, fillers plump the skin for instant correction and stimulate collagen at the same time. Often, a combination of both produces the best possible result. Fine lines and crepey skin around the eyes and lips
WHY THEY HAPPEN: The sun, loss of collagen and elastin, lifestyle, and a decline in moisture due to aging all cause changes in texture. Thin skin around the eyes and delicate lip area is typically the first to be affected.
THE FIX: NEW! Injection-free! ThermiSmooth is a radio frequency treatment specially designed to treat small, delicate areas like the lips and eyelids. Energy delivered through a small handpiece comfortably (REALLY!) heats the deep layers of skin to 42-45°C. Maintaining that temperature for just a few minutes instantly contracts collagen and stimulates fibroblast activity, resulting in firmer, more elastic, smoother skin.
Red broken capillaries & redness
