Can you tell us a little about yourself and what you enjoy outside of work?
I live in Fenton with my family and spend most of my free time chasing after my two young sons. They’re close in age, so life is definitely busy, but I wouldn’t have it any other way.
When I do have a little time for myself, I enjoy staying active, working out, gardening, and spending time outdoors. Fitness has always been a big part of my life, and I love finding ways to stay healthy both physically and mentally.
What inspired you to pursue a career in aesthetics?
What drew me to aesthetics was the opportunity to combine science, anatomy, and artistry. I love that every treatment requires both medical knowledge and creativity. It’s a field where you can truly personalize care while helping patients feel more confident in themselves.
How has your medical background shaped your approach to aesthetic medicine?
I began my nursing career working in the hospital during the COVID-19 pandemic, where I cared for patients in a variety of settings before eventually finding a passion for hospice care.
That experience taught me compassion, communication, and how important it is to care for the whole person. When I transitioned into aesthetics, I brought that same patient-centered approach with me. Every consultation starts with listening, educating, and creating a treatment plan that’s tailored to each individual’s goals.
Have you personally experienced the treatments you offer?
Absolutely. I believe it’s important to understand treatments from the patient’s perspective.
Some of my favorites include Botox, microneedling, and Sculptra. Together, they help improve skin quality, stimulate collagen production, and create natural-looking results that continue to improve over time.
What’s your philosophy when it comes to aesthetic treatments?
I’m a big believer in collagen stimulation and regenerative treatments. While filler certainly has its place, I believe the foundation of beautiful, natural results starts with healthy skin.
Combining collagen-stimulating treatments, lasers, microneedling, and regenerative therapies with injectables allows us to support the aging process in a way that looks refreshed rather than overdone.
What treatments do you enjoy performing the most?
Lip filler is one of my favorite treatments because even subtle enhancements can make such a beautiful difference. I also love seeing the confidence patients gain when they realize natural-looking lip filler simply enhances the features they already have.
What are some of the most common concerns patients come to you with?
Many patients want to soften signs of aging while still looking like themselves. They aren’t looking for dramatic changes. They simply want refreshed, healthy-looking skin and natural results that help them feel more confident.
What’s your favorite combination treatment?
If I had to recommend one combination, it would be Botox paired with microneedling.
It’s one of the best investments patients can make in their skin. Botox softens expression lines while microneedling improves texture, stimulates collagen, and supports long-term skin health. Together, they create noticeable improvements while maintaining a very natural appearance.
Many patients worry about looking overdone. What do you tell them?
Choosing the right injector makes all the difference.
I often tell patients that you could give the exact same syringe of filler to several injectors and every result would look different. Aesthetic medicine is both a science and an art. My goal is never to change someone’s face. It’s to understand their natural anatomy and enhance the features that already make them unique.
What do you think patients misunderstand most about aesthetic treatments?
Many people assume Botox or filler will completely change the way they look.
When treatments are performed thoughtfully and conservatively, the goal isn’t transformation. It’s subtle enhancement that allows patients to continue looking like themselves, just more refreshed.
What’s one piece of advice you give every new patient?
Don’t wait until aging has progressed before investing in your skin.
Collagen naturally declines over time, so incorporating skin rejuvenation and collagen-stimulating treatments early helps maintain healthier skin for years to come. The best results happen gradually through consistency rather than trying to reverse everything all at once.
How have you seen aesthetics evolve over the last 5 years?
The biggest shift has been toward natural, regenerative treatments. More patients are interested in building collagen, improving skin health, and supporting healthy aging rather than simply treating wrinkles.
I also love that we’re focusing more on how patients feel, not just how they look. When we improve health from the inside out, it naturally shows on the outside.
What do you enjoy most about being part of the CSLC team?
The work-life balance has been incredibly meaningful for me.
Being part of a supportive team allows me to give my full attention to my patients during the day and then be fully present with my family when I go home. I truly believe it’s made me both a better provider and a better mom.
What does confidence mean to you?
Confidence isn’t about looking perfect.
It’s about feeling comfortable in your own skin. When you feel good about yourself, that confidence naturally shines through in every part of your life.
Favorite coffee order?
I’m pretty simple. Just black coffee. Occasionally I’ll add a little almond milk or half-and-half, but most days I’m perfectly happy with a good cup of black coffee.
