Tell us a little about yourself. Where do you live and what do you enjoy doing outside of work?
I live in the Rochester/Rochester Hills area with my husband and our dog. I’m a big foodie and love exploring local restaurants, spending time outdoors, hiking, walking, and running with my dog. Whenever Michigan weather cooperates, you’ll usually find me outside enjoying it.
What inspired you to purse a career in aesthetics?
I always knew I wanted to work in medicine, but a plastic surgery rotation during PA school introduced me to the world of aesthetics. I loved the combination of procedures, creativity, and facial artistry. It felt like the perfect blend of medicine and hands-on patient care, which is something I’ve always enjoyed.
Have you personally tried any of the treatments you offer? If so, which have been your favorites?
I’ve tried several treatments, including Botox, facials, and microneedling. Botox has been great for softening some heaviness around my brows and helping me look more refreshed, while microneedling and facials have become staples for maintaining healthy skin.
What’s your philosophy when it comes to aesthetic treatments?
My approach is always natural. I want patients to feel comfortable and confident in their own skin while enhancing what they already have. I focus heavily on skin rejuvenation and building a healthy foundation before making structural changes. Healthy skin is always the starting point.
What types of treatments do you love performing the most?
I especially enjoy collagen-stimulating treatments such as microneedling with PRF and Sculptra. These treatments encourage your body to do the work naturally and help rebuild collagen over time, which creates beautiful, long-lasting results.
How do you incorporate regenerative aesthetics into your treatment plans?
Regenerative treatments are often where I like to begin. Building collagen and improving skin elasticity creates a stronger, healthier foundation. From there, patients often become even better candidates for other treatments because their skin quality has improved.
What are some of the most common concerns patients come to you with?
Many patients tell me they feel like they suddenly look older than they feel. Volume loss, skin laxity, and changes in facial structure are common concerns. My goal is to help the outside reflect how vibrant and youthful they still feel on the inside.
What’s your favorite combination treatment for natural-looking results?
I love treatments that combine multiple modalities, like RegenGlo. Pairing microneedling, PRF, and Morpheus8 allows us to address skin quality, collagen production, and skin tightening simultaneously for noticeable yet natural improvements.
What’s one of your favorite patient success stories?
Some of my favorite moments are with first-time filler patients. It’s incredibly rewarding to see someone look in the mirror after treatment and realize they still look completely like themselves, just more refreshed and confident.
What do you think patients often misunderstand most about aesthetics?
Many people worry they’ll look overdone. The reality is that when treatments are performed thoughtfully and appropriately, the goal is simply to look like a refreshed version of yourself. Most well-done aesthetic work goes completely unnoticed by others.
Is there a treatment that has surprised you with its results?
Microneedling has been one of the most impressive. It seems like a simple treatment with minimal downtime, but I’ve seen remarkable improvements in acne scarring, skin texture, and overall skin quality.
What’s one piece of advice you give every new patient?
Keep an open mind. Patients often come in thinking they need one specific treatment, but after a thorough consultation, there may be options they hadn’t considered that could help them achieve even better results.
How is CSLC different from other med spas?
CSLC takes a highly personalized approach. We spend a lot of time getting to know each patient, understanding their goals, and creating customized treatment plans rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach.
What excites you most about the future of regenerative aesthetics?
The industry is evolving incredibly quickly, and I’m excited to see how regenerative treatments continue to advance. Helping the body repair, restore, and rejuvenate itself naturally is where I think the future of aesthetics is headed.
What do you think the next 5-10 years will look like in aesthetic medicine?
I think we’ll continue moving toward regenerative therapies and treatments that stimulate the body’s natural healing and collagen production. The focus will be on achieving healthier skin and longer-lasting results in the most natural way possible.
What’s your favorite coffee order?
I’m actually more of a tea person than a coffee person. My favorite treat is a Pumpkin Spice Chai from Starbucks in the fall with pumpkin cold foam. It’s definitely not the healthiest choice, but it’s my favorite.
