July 2026 Newsletter

Sometimes we get so focused on helping people age well that we forget about the treatments that can change your day-to-day life. But this is exactly why I started Cosmetic Skin & Laser Center back in 2001. I wasn’t thinking about anti-aging; I was thinking about confidence — about treatments that save time, eliminate little frustrations, and simply make life easier.

So this month, we’re featuring three of my favorites. They’re simple, practical, and the results last a long time… sometimes for years. Sometimes the best aesthetic treatments aren’t about looking younger. They’re about wearing what you want. Feeling comfortable. Spending less time maintaining and more time living.

Laser Hair Removal — Smooth Skin, Less Maintenance

Whether it’s unwanted facial hair, razor burn, or stubborn ingrown hairs, laser hair removal simplifies your routine year-round. It can be done pretty much anywhere on the body, and the results speak for themselves.

What patients can expect: After a series of five treatments, patients usually experience approximately 80% long-term hair reduction, along with significantly fewer ingrown hairs and less irritation.

Hyperhidrosis Treatment — Wear Any Color, Any Day

Excessive sweating isn’t just uncomfortable, it affects confidence. Whether you’re giving a presentation, heading out on a date, wearing your favorite color, or simply trying to stay comfortable, underarm sweating can be a daily distraction.

Botox for hyperhidrosis temporarily blocks the nerves that activate the sweat glands, dramatically reducing excessive underarm sweating — with results that are nearly instant and require no downtime.

What patients can expect: Results typically last about six months, making this one of our most requested repeat treatments because patients simply love the freedom it provides.

Sclerotherapy — Shorts Without a Second Thought

Spider veins are one of those things many people simply learn to live with, but they don’t have to. Using tiny injections, sclerotherapy closes unwanted spider veins so your body naturally reabsorbs them over time.

In our experience, sclerotherapy is often more effective than laser treatment for small leg veins — and patients are frequently surprised by how straightforward the process is.

What patients can expect: Most patients begin with a series of three treatments and enjoy progressive improvement with each session. Maintenance treatments every one to three years help keep new veins under control.

Be Part of One of the Largest Studies on Menopause Care

Every woman’s experience matters. If you’re 35 or older, add your voice to one of the largest anonymous national surveys exploring perimenopause, menopause, postmenopause, and women’s midlife health.

The survey takes just 5 to 7 minutes.

Your responses will help inform The State of Menopause Care Report™ — a national report examining what women are experiencing, the symptoms they are living with, where care has fallen short, and what better menopause care should look like.

Today, fewer than 8% of menopausal women use hormone therapy, compared with approximately 30% in 2000. We believe it’s time to better understand why — and your experience can help shape the future of menopause care.
